Privacy: no analytics, no cookies, no tracking

This is a static reference archive. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and carries no advertising, and this page explains how to confirm that rather than asking you to take it on trust.

A plain closed cardboard document box on a cold slate surface with an orange band around it, lid firmly on, nothing else in frame.

What runs on these pages

Open the network tab and check. That is the intended way to read this page.

No analytics script of any kind runs on these pages. There is no measurement platform, no tag manager, no pixel and no beacon. Nothing counts visits, and as a consequence nobody here knows how many people read any of this.

This site sets no cookies. Not for preferences, not for sessions, not for anything, because it has no feature that needs to remember you between one page and the next. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

There is no advertising and there are no affiliate links, so no advertising network is invited to observe your visit. Outbound links to publishers are ordinary links, marked so they are not treated as endorsements, and following one takes you to that publisher under their terms rather than under any arrangement with this site.

Every request a page makes

A page here makes no third-party request at all. That was not true until 3 August 2026: the type styles used to be fetched from an external font service, which meant your browser asked that service for the files and it saw the request in the ordinary way any server sees one. The font files are now served from this domain alongside everything else, so nothing on a page reaches outside it.

Everything a page needs — the stylesheet, the type, every image, the small amount of interactive code on the comparison and index pages — is served from this domain. The interactive code runs entirely in your browser, sends nothing anywhere, and stores nothing.

The comparison page writes the two machines you have selected into the address bar so a comparison can be linked to or bookmarked. That happens in the address of the page you are already on. It is not stored and it is not transmitted.

Email, hosting and your rights

If you write to the address on the contact page, that email is kept for as long as it takes to deal with it and is not added to any list, because there is no list. Nothing is passed to anyone else.

Like every web server, the server hosting these pages processes the request your browser makes in order to answer it, which necessarily involves your network address. That is what serving a page consists of, and no profile is built from it here.

If you want to know what this archive holds about you, the answer is nothing unless you have emailed, in which case it is that email. A request to delete it will be honoured. Nothing on this page is a promise you have to trust: the absence of analytics and cookies is directly observable in your browser, which is a better guarantee than a paragraph.

Privacy questions

Does this site use cookies?

No. None are set, for any purpose, which is why there is no consent banner. You can confirm it in your browser's storage inspector.

Are there any analytics on this site?

No. No measurement script runs on any page. Check the network tab: every request a page makes is to this domain, so there is nothing to inspect beyond the page itself.

Does anything here track me across other sites?

No. There is no advertising network, no affiliate programme and no pixel, so nothing on these pages is in a position to follow you anywhere.
