Most gamers
these days have high powered smartphones in their pockets.
These new and exciting devices can do pretty much everything,
except of course play
real money poker.
This is an
area where a lot of phone companies have been, shall we say,
"less than eager" to explore. This holds especially true for
the iPhone, as Apple have banned all gambling applications
from their App Store. Things are about to change though. Apple
have already started to feel the nagging thorns of their
competitors products, the Android phones.
And
soon Microsoft will be releasing their addition to the
smartphone world, the Windows7 phone. Will poker players be
able to get their gaming on, with these new phones? There are
a lot of speculations regarding this. One thing that has been
confirmed is that Microsoft are working very closely with
Adobe to bring fully fledged Flash support to their new
phones. This would mean that any in-browser poker games would
work fully.
